The Comets are coming off a conference road win against the Harris-Stowe State University Hornets 77-69 in St. Louis, Missouri on December 1, 2022.
The Comets (5-3) were led by Claudia Hadlock with 29 points, 4 rebounds, 4 assists, and 3 steals. Also going double digits for the Comets was Dally Coulter with 16 points and 5 rebounds, and Olivia Pruitt with 11 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists, and 1 steal. Aliya Grotjohn led the Comets on the boards with 7 rebounds
The Eutectics (6-3) are coming off a conference win against William Woods where four time player of the week Grace Beyer was the team's leading point-getter with 22 points and 10 rebounds, Grace Underhill had an impressive 11 points and 17 rebounds and Elizabeth Allanach hadd 10 points.
