The Cottey College Comets (9-11, 5-8) basketball team will play the University of Health Sciences and Pharmacy Eutectics (15-5, 11-2) at the UHSP Gymnasium on Saturday January 28, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. The Eutectics took the win in the matchup earlier in the year at Hinkhouse Gymnasium 66-58.
The Comets are coming off a home win against conference opponent Harris Stowe State University on January 26, 2023. The Comets were led in that effort by Claudia Hadlock with 19 points, 3 rebounds, and 4 assists. Also double digits for the comets was Sara Montesdeoca with 10 points, 7 rebounds, and Dally Coulter with 10 points 6 rebounds.
The Eutectics are coming off of a conference win at home against William Woods on January 26, 2023. The Eutectics win was a group effort with every single player scoring at least a basket. Leading the Eutectics in points was Jersee Wren with 9 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists. Natalie Thomas and Sydney Booker both had 8 points and 6 rebounds, leading the Eutectics on the boards.
