The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) proudly announces the 2024 Daktronics NAIA Scholar-Athletes for fall sports. This honor recognizes student-athletes in each of the fall sports who have excelled academically including football, men's cross country, men's soccer, women's cross country, women's soccer and women's volleyball. For Cottey College, eleven student-athletes met the qualifications for the award. To qualify, students must maintain a 3.5 cumulative GPA, as well as have attended the institution for a full year.
Cottey's Fall sports included Volleyball and Cross Country. Taylor Rechenmacher, Mikaela Fabey, Avery Morris, Kate Soukup, and Kyndal Soukup were all honored from the Cross Country Squad. Katelyn Gray, Staley Stallaby, Heather Hayduk, Magdalen Dougherty, Laurencia Botts, and Elena Adams all made the list from Volleyball.
The NAIA will release Winter Sports honorees in February, and Spring Sports in April.
