Cottey College freshman Grayce Taylor has been named the American Midwest Conference Softball Player of the Week after a standout performance in her team's sweep over MidAmerica Nazarene.

The Verdigris, Okla., native went 3-for-6 at the plate, showcasing her power with two home runs, six RBIs, and three runs scored. Taylor's offensive explosion helped the Comets secure the pair of victories, further cementing her as one of the league's top newcomers.

With her impressive showing, Taylor continues to make her mark in her first season, earning well-deserved recognition for her efforts.
