Nevada, Mo. – The Cottey College basketball team head off on their first road game of the season to take on the Philander Smith Panthers on November 26th at 2:00 p.m. 

The Comets (4-2) are coming off of their first conference win of the season against Central Baptist College.  The Comets were led in that game by Olivia Pruitt with 15 points.  Also going double digits for the Comets was Dally Coulter, with 11 points and Nicole Hagerman with 10 points.  Sara Montesdeoca led the Comets on the boards with 11 rebounds. Montesdeoca  also had 4 assists and 3 steals.

The (6-0) Panthers are set for a home game against Louisiana College Friday November 25 after coming off an exhibition loss (84-45) to Division I Arkansas Pine Bluff earlier in the week.
