The Cottey College Comets basketball team will play the William Penn Statesmen at 2:00  pm on December 30, 2022.

Both teams are coming off conference losses.  The Comets (6-5) coming off a loss to conference opponent Columbia College, 64-42 at Hinkhouse on December 15, 2022.   The Comets were led by Claudia Hadlock with 8 points and 4 rebounds and 1 assist.  Derin Akdeniz also had 7 points for the Comets.  The Comets were led on the boards by Lauren Jones with 6 rebounds.  Jones also had 6 points for the Comets.  

The Statesmen (4-8) coming off a conference loss against Mid America Nazarene University on December 17, 65-50.  The Statesmen were led by Morgan Terry with 16 points and four rebounds, followed by Ally Stewart with 10 points and 6 rebounds.
