The Cottey College Comets basketball team will play the William Baptist University Lady Eagles on January 5, 2023 at 5:30 pm in Walnut Ridge, Arkansas. 

The Comets ended their year with a loss to William Penn 62-48.  The Comets (6-6) were led by Claudia Hadlock with 13 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists.  Sara Montesdeoca also had 11 points, 7 rebounds, 1 assist, and 1 steal.  The Comets opened 2023 with an Exhibition Game at Southwest Baptist.  

Williams Baptist is coming off 74-69 win against Trinity Christian College.  Monica Horne led the Lady Eagles collecting a double-double with 18 points and 14 rebounds.  Also going double digits for the Lady Eagles was Tristan Richards with 16 points, Kaylee Clark with 15 points, and Reesa Hampton with 12 points.
