Columbia, Mo. – The Cottey College Comets basketball team will face conference opponent the Columbia College Cougars at  5:30 pm on Thursday February 2, 2023 at the Arena of Southwell Complex. The Cougars took the earlier matchup in the season 64-42.  

The Cottey College Comets (9-12, 5-9) are coming off a road loss against University of Health Sciences and Pharmacy Eutectics by a score of 61-49 at UHSP Gymnasium on January 28, 2023.     The Comets were led in that effort by Dally Coulter with 14 points, 7 rebounds, and 1 assist.  Sarah Hunt scored 12 points with 3 rebounds and 1 assist.  Ndeye Ndiaye led the Comets on the boards with 10 rebounds, 7 points, and 4 assists

The Cougars (17-4, 12-2) are coming off a conference win at home against Central Baptist University 85-54 on January 28.  The Cougars were led by Mackezie Hess who had a double double with 15 points and 11 rebounds.  Allison Stiers also had 15 points for the Cougars.  DeLaney Horstman and Peyton Crowe both carrying 12 points for the Cougars.
