Nevada, Mo. – The Cottey College Comets (10-13, 5-10)  basketball team will face conference opponent the William Woods Owls (6-16, 4-11) at  5:30 pm on Tuesday February 7, 2023 at Hinkhouse Gymnasium. The Owls took the earlier matchup in the season 54-44.  

The Comets are coming off a conference home win against Baptist Bible College (8-13) by a score of 75-51 at Hinkhouse Gymnasium on February 4, 2023.     The Comets were led in that effort by Claudia Hadlock with 25 points, 6 rebounds, and 5 assists.  Sarah Hunt scored 16 points with 3 rebounds and 2 assists.  Sara Montesdeoca with 12 points, 5 rebounds, 2 assists.  Dally Coulter with 10 points, 8 rebounds, 2 assists.    

The Owls are coming off a conference win at home against Central Baptist 57-55 on February 4, 2023.   The Owls were led by Sydney Booker with 17 points, 7 rebounds, 1 assist, Natalie Thomas with 11 points, 8 rebounds, and 5 assists, and Mariah Prince with 11 points, 8 rebounds, and 3 assists.
