Nevada, Mo. – The Cottey College Comets (10-14, 5-11)  basketball team will face conference opponent the Williams Baptist Eagles (13-10, 9-6) at  5:30 pm on Thursday February 9, 2023 at Hinkhouse Gymnasium. The Eagles took the earlier matchup in the season 70-53.  

The Comets with a tough conference home loss against William Woods University by a score of 50-43 at Hinkhouse Gymnasium on February 6, 2023.     

The Comets were led in that effort  by Claudia Hadlock with 20 points, 4 rebounds, and 1 assist.  Sara Montesdeoca leading the Comets on the boards with 11 rebounds and 7 points

The Eagles are coming off a conference road win again Lyon on February 7, 2023 86-79.  The Eagles were led by Monica Horne with a double double scoring 22 points with 10 rebounds.  Kaylee Clark scoring 19 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists, and Reesa Hampton scoring 18 points, 4 rebounds, and 2 assists.
