Nevada, Mo. – The Cottey College Comets (10-16, 5-13)  will take on the Hannibal LaGrange Trojans (4-21, 2-16) at home on Thursday February 16, 2023 at 6:00 p.m.    

The Comets are coming off of a conference road loss against the Stephens Stars by a score of 62-48 in Columbia, MO on February 11, 2023.     The Comets were led in that effort  by Claudia Hadlock with 19 points, 3 rebounds.  Sarah Hunt going for 9 points, 6 rebounds and Lauren Jones with 9 points, 2 rebounds.

The Trojans  are coming off a conference road loss again Lyon College on February 10 by a score of 85-62.  The Trojans were led by Ashlyn Vermeer with 22 points, 5 rebounds and Bella Jadwin with 16 points, 3 rebounds. The Trojans were led on the boards by Taylor Flake with 9 rebounds, 6 points.  

A bid to the conference is still up for grabs for the Comets, making Thursday an important home match. 

The Comets will also recognize their lone senior, Yannis Rodriguez.
