Nina Paes is entering her 2nd year as an assistant in the Comet Basketball program.
Paes’ journey to Cottey College began at Highland Community College, where she quickly established herself as a talented and determined player. Her performance on the court earned her a nomination to the Jayhawk All-Conference 3rd Team, a recognition that paved the way for her transfer to Cottey as a player.
Following her time as a player, she transitioned seamlessly into a coaching role, joining the Cottey staff as a student assistant. Her commitment and leadership skills were quickly recognized, leading her to take charge of the varsity reserve program.
Paes graduated from Cottey College with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology.
