
Marion, IN - Madalenn Fee competed for the Comets today in the NAIA National Track & Field Championships. Fee raced in the 3000m steeplechase after running a qualifying time for the event in the AMC Championships.
Fee finished 21st overall and was one of only two freshman to compete in the event. She finished with a time of 11:49.33.
Fee has had a standout freshman year. She first competed in the 3000m steeplechase run at the Mule Relays in Warrensburg, Missouri on April 14 grabbing a 5th place finish and new Cottey school record with a time of 12:18. Fee competed in the 3000m Steeple at the Tabor Invitational earning a first place finish and bettering her time with a finish of 12:01.19. Fee ran her national qualifying time in the 3000m Steeple at the AMC Championships in St. Louis, Missouri with a time of 11:28; breaking her own school record.
