Comets Take On the Mule Relays

The Comets Track squad hit the road to take on the Mule Relays on the campus of the University of Central Missouri Friday, with athletes competing in a variety of events.

A highlight was Junior Madalenn Fee winning the 3000M Steeplechase, besting the field with a time of 11:16 on her way to the gold. Fee also competed in the 1500M, 4x400M Relay,  and 800M events. Senior Tayor Rechenmacher was the Comets lone entrant in the 10,000M, where she placed 9th. Avery Morris took on the 5k event for the Comets, while Hannah Hayduk finished the 400M Dash in 1:02.47. 

Kate Soukup took 12th place in the 800M run, with a time of 2:21, while also joining the 4x400m relay team that would finish in 7th.

The Mule Relays saw athletes from all over the country, including a majority of Division II NCAA teams. No team scores were recorded.
