Cottey College Comets swept the Baptist Bible College Patriots in three straight sets to secure their 2nd straight win.
Set 1
The first set kicked off with both teams trading points. Baptist Bible College managed to take an early 6-5 lead, showcasing their resilience. However, the Comets quickly shifted the momentum in their favor with a 5-point streak, grabbing a 10-6 advantage.
A pivotal moment came when Staley Stallaby unleashed a powerful ace, putting an end to a 6-point run by the Patriots and starting a run of their own. Cottey College secured the first set with a score of 25-18.

The second set saw a back-and-forth battle, with both teams refusing to back down. Cottey and Baptist Bible found themselves tied at 7 points each. A sensational kill by Kaylee Criswell pushed Cottey ahead 11-8.

Although Baptist Bible College put up a fight and closed the gap to 6-8, the Comets showed their resilience by trading points and then unleashing a 7-point run, including two crucial kills by Braylen Ford. The Comets secured the final set with a resounding 25-14 victory, sealing the match.
