Madalenn Fee Honored as AMC Cross Country Runner of the Week

Madalenn Fee of Cottey College and Chris Palmer of Central Baptist College were selected the American Midwest Conference Cross Country runners of the week, announced the league this afternoon.
 
Both runners are now eligible for NAIA Men's and Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week which is announced on Wednesday.

  • Set a new school record in the 5k race with a time of 18:53.
  • Placed 15th out of 115 runners in the SBU Bearcat XC Invite.

Nominees: Madalenn Fee, Cottey College; Mia Duncan, Missouri Baptist.

Fee's Runner of the Week honor is her first of the 2024 season. Fee, a National Qualifier last season, is looking to improve up her program best finish from last year. The next opportunity for the Cottey Cross Country team to compete will be at the Southern Stampede on September 20th. It will be hosted by Missouri Southern State University in Joplin, MO.
