Fee Wins 2nd Cross Country Runner of the Week Award this Season

ST. LOUIS, Mo. – Madalenn Fee of Cottey College and Chris Palmer of Central Baptist earned this week's American Midwest Conference cross country runners of the week, announced the league this afternoon.
 
Both runners are now eligible for NAIA Men's and Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week which is announced on Wednesday.

Madalenn Fee, Cottey

  • Competed in the 6k race at the Gans Creek Classic
  • Set a new school record with a time of 22:37

 

This award marks Fee's 2nd Runner of the Week this season. Fee now holds the Cross Country program record in the 6K race, beating her own time from the 2023 season. She also holds the 5K program record, breaking a nearly 5 year record by running an 18:53 at the SBU Invite.

 

The Comets return to action on October 12th at the Haskell Invitational
