Nevada, MO– The Cottey College Comets (3-1) softball program will take on non-conference opponent MidAmerica Nazarene Pioneers (0-0) on Saturday February 11, 2023 for a double header starting at 12:00 p.m. in Nevada, MO. 

The Comets are coming off a successful first weekend of the season. They went 3-1 during their first road trip. The Comets outscored their opponents 33-4 in the 4 games. Lauren Johnson led the team in RBI's with 7. Lacey Cruz led Cottey in pitching with24 strikeouts. 

The Pioneers will be traveling to Nevada, MO to start their 2023 campaign. MidAmerica Nazarene went 28-22 in their 2022 season.
