Michael (Mike) Foster comes to Cottey College from Oklahoma, where he has resided since retiring from the Professional Bowling Association tour. He still retains his tour card, but no longer competes reguarly on the tour.
Mike is married to Charlene, with whom he shares five daughters and nine grandchildren. Foster grew up in Chelsea, OK, where he got his start in the area in bowling. Nearing the end of his professional career, Mike took up the coaching route. He is a Silver-level coach trained through the ITRC and USBC. His coaching career has seen four of his bowler place in the Top 50 in the Junior Gold category. Foster has a litany of experience around bowling, including being a Pro Shop Operator, and in 2023 was the Director of the Oklahoma Senior State Games.
Coach Foster is actively recruiting bowlers for the debut of the Cottey College Bowling Team.
