Fee Prepares for NAIA Cross Country National Championship

For the second year in a row, Junior Madalenn Fee will represent the Cottey Comets at the NAIA Cross Country National Championship. This time around, it is a hosted a little closer to home, just up the road in Columbia, MO. The 2023 version was held in Vancouver, WA, with Fee taking 204th during her debut appearance. Fee will look to make waves in her second go around, in a course much more familiar. The Comets raced on the very same Gans Creek Course earlier in the season, so Fee will have some experience navigating the 6K race. William Woods is the American Midwest Conference's representative as conference champion, with other competitors from Missouri Baptist also set to join Fee in the individuals competing. 

Fee took her talents to the next level this season, claiming almost every top spot in the record book for the Cross Country program. This includs setting the top marks in both the 5k and 6k distances. Her Runner-Up finish at the AMC Conference Championship was the top finisher for the Comets since joining the AMC.
